Dr Mallon heads the HIV Molecular Research Group at the the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (MMUH) campus. Funded through a number of streams including Science Foundation Ireland, Wellcome Health Research Board and pharmaceutical companies including Merck Sharp and Dohme, GlaxoSmithKline, Gilead and Pfizer.
